{"id":469,"date":"2021-09-16T13:10:58","date_gmt":"2021-09-16T13:10:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.newcomponit.it\/?p=469"},"modified":"2025-07-01T09:39:56","modified_gmt":"2025-07-01T08:39:56","slug":"company-short-sightedness","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newcomponit-blog.ippogrifomarketing.com\/en\/company-short-sightedness\/","title":{"rendered":"Company short-sightedness"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Company short-sightedness\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DgxiN91EUEE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Today I would like to share with you something different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">What I call : \u201c Company short-sightedness\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Often during my inspections at thermal power plants, cogeneration or energy plants, or in factory production processes, I notice the complete absence of adequate thermal insulation, on equipment which can be filters, valves, flanged couplings, heating pumps, small section of pipe, engine parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">When I ask : \u201c Why are these elements not insulated ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The customers\u2019 answers are almost the same :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">-\u201cIt has been like this for many years\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; \u201cThe insulation cannot be done here\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; \u201cWe cannot do the insulation, because we need to do the maintenance\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">&#8211; \u201cIt is more expensive to call someone who does the insulation than everything else\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Here we are, this is what I call : \u201cCompany short-sightedness\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The fact that it has always been like this, does not mean that it is correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Actually , over the years, the situation has drastically changed.
